Re: Affective Carpet cleaning products?
I've had pretty good success with those carpet cleaners you rent from the grocery store. Not the "Rug Doctor" ones that look like an oversized upright vacuum, I'm talking about the ones with two tanks, one for the solution and one for the dirty water and a long hose.
Do not purchase the cleaning solution, just use VERY hot water, you can even boil some water on the stove and pour it into the tank. The reason I don't use any solution is that they always leave a residue and dirt will just stick to it and it will get dirty again very quickly. I did this when I cleaned my home carpets too, they stayed clean a whole lot longer. |

Re: Affective Carpet cleaning products?
If you need to use a cleaner, you can always clean the area with just water afterward to get rid of any residual cleaner.

Re: Affective Carpet cleaning products?
Meguiars makes a very good carpet cleaner to use. I have allways used it with a scrub brush without any trouble. Just use your shop vac, etc. afterwards to suck up any rinse water.

Re: Affective Carpet cleaning products?
Some of your newer car washes have a Steam/vaccum cleaner with
scented flavors. |
