Re: New Driver
Happy Belated Birthday!
To be perfectly honest, I would buy a cheap ($5k) car for your first car until you get enough experience to know what the STUPIDEST thing is other drivers can possibly do. Give it about 2 years - as I've been driving for 12 years now and people STILL amaze me with their stupidity behind the wheel. Then once you know how to react to other people driving like morons, THEN you can drop some cash on a bad@ss ride.

Re: New Driver
Congrats on getting your drivers license. I'm sure your super excited. I agree with speediva, you would be able to find some great fast cars for 5-$10,000, it would be a great first car. Insurance costs is something you should take into account as well, given your age and wanting a sports car. Here are some choices that i think you would like:
2006 Infinity G35 2006 Ford Mustang GT 1968-69 Ford Mustang 1968 Chevy Camaro All the above cars can be bought with under 60,000 miles and between $15,000-$18,000. Happy Hunting. Try and buy a car that none of your friends have and more importantly, that you love. Be smart and be safe. Happy Hunting. |
