Something ate the paint on my rims! HELP!

Hi everyone. Quick version of what happened to me. I woke up and noticed my rims looked like they were spray painted black! I have a 2006 G35x sedan.

I had my friend look at it, and he say's that it wasn't spray paint, that the paint was actually gone. And it doesn't look like normal wear. It is in the shape of spray marks, lines, spinning from the inside, etc.

I had the compression arm on my tire and battery replaced the day before from an Infiniti dealership in Hoffman Estates as well as a wash from Three Oaks. Is it possible some kind of wash or fluid caused this? What could have happened to my rims.

Maybe a harsh chemical cleaner stripped the clear coat protection.
