A.C. blowing cold. Then warm. then cold again 99 Sable

This just happened on my 5 mile trip home from work. My ac is blowing nice and cold. Then it starts getting warmer. Then a few minutes later is gets cold again. My temp gauge had not even reached the middle of the gauge so I know it wasn't over heating. Any suggestions on where I should start first? Any help is appreciated.
