1/20 Tyrrell P34 Monaco GP

Hi guys,
Here is a WIP of the Tamiya Tyrrel P34 Monaco GP. First of all the historic DFV engine. I build it straight from the box except i changed the wires, because they were to thick. I also added some fuellines(0.5mm beadwire clear) that i painted yellow. I also used PE on the brakediscs from Studio27. I have to tell something about this PE set. In my opinion this set is crap, because nothing except the brakediscs fits and some of the parts are wrong. I also stripped the chrome from the airtrumpets and gave them a coat semigloss silver from a can that i bought at a warehouse. it's not quiet finished, because i still have to add some wires and mesh for the trumpets(MFH). So here are some pics. I hope that you enjoy watching them.

Re: 1/20 Tyrrell P34 Monaco GP

Hi Guys,
Here is another update of the P34. This time the body parts where on. I sprayed the body/cockpit with a layer of TS30. When this was dry, i masked of the cockpit with tamiya tape and maskol. First a coupke of thin layers of TS29 to neutralise the silver and to become a darker blue(a great tip by Alex Nahooy). After a few days of drying a couple of layers TS15 all thru the airbrush. And this is the result. The seat and cowling was painted with 2 layers of TS27. I did this because the matt white is thicker than the gloss white. Then a layer of TS26 to finish. Next up are spraying the seat blue(semi gloss black first) and the inside of the cowling in semi gloss black and decals. I'm very happy with the result, because i was my second time using the airbrush with TS paint. I hope you enjoy watching the pics.
