neuspeed spring with stock struts???

current mod in my car so far:

bolt ons:
AEM CAI
DC ceramic header
greddy evolution
short shifter
neuspeed front strut tower brace

entertainment:
alpine speakers all around
jl sub
alpine amp
clarion vrx-925vd (7"touch screen/dvd/vcd/mp3...)

lights:
piaa headlights
blue interior lights all around (door light, instrument panel light, dome light...)
blue/red reverse indiglo guage

.....now i am looking to drop my car alittle to get rid of the fender gap and get better handling.....
the problem is, i have a tight budget so i can only do one thing at a time.
i found the KYB agx struts to be the only one that fits prelude SH...(after a long long long long research (and some help from del ) and knowing that droping the lude anywhere below 1.75 i will need camber kits (which i dont want) i am looking into the neuspeed sport springs
drops 1.7 front and 1.5 rear. now the big question is , if i were to buy the neuspeed spring first without the kyb struts, will my stock struts handle the spring well? or will the spring fit? i need to know, if anyone can tell me. thanx. (one more thing, will it mess up my car if i use aftermarket spring with stock struts?)

Friend of mine has a GS-R with the neuspeed sport springs, stock struts and a camber kit and he says his struts are holding up fine. The car isn't too bouncy, and it's a pretty comfortable ride. Handles well also. I am planning on doing the same with my 4th gen until i get the money for some tokicos or something.

You could use the stock shocks/struts with those springs but you will not get all the performance expected. Also the stocks will wear out very quickly. Just because it looks like a race car doesnt mean it handles like one.

Understood. I did ride in the car however, and the suspension did handle better than OE. I know you wont get the performance expected, but sometimes you don't have the cash for everything all at once. Might as well wear out your OE struts anyway.
