2008 Chrysler
Town & country 3.3L 42000 miles My 2008 Chrysler Town & country van got a wierd electrical problem yesterday. I am guessing it is a electrical. I started the van went out parking lot and turned left. Suddenly all the electrical things got blowing up. The honking was loud, vipers front and back switched on, lights switched on etc. The noise was too loud. It was keep going on. I switched off the engine and its still same problem (honking was loud, vipers front and back switched on, lights switched on). I disconnected battery negative terminal and everything got stopped. Then after some time again I tried to connect battery(without starting engine) and still same problem. The power door locks is also not working. The engine is getting started after connecting the battery but the problem still exists. Can anyone please let me know what is the problem and anyone had this type of problem before. Thanks |

Get it towed to a dealer and let them fix it, it's under warranty.

Sounds like your BCM has gone bezerk. If you have warranty left, definitely let the dealer handle it.
