1999 crwn vic with 4.6 coil on plug
I hope sum1 can help, this by reading is a common problem i need a intake maifold (dorman) is the only aftermarket i can find, i have the 4.6 ltr engine with coil on plug. does anyone have a part #. for the correct app.
how about removing them darn fuel lines i accidently rubbed with plyers and in need of a new front fuel line there are 2 front and back of fuel rail, wt heck they wont come apart? |

I'm not sure of the Dorman part number, but just make sure you get the "NPI" or "Non Performance Improved" model. The PI model can be used but requires modification of other parts. The Dorman NPI intake is a drop in direct replacement. Most people I talk to just buy them from eBay.
As for the fuel rails, there are special tools to remove them. To do the intake swap, you don't have to remove them, just lay the fuel rail off to the side.
