2001 silverado clunking noise
just replaced 2 rear driveshaft u joints stiil make clunking noise any ideas

I fixed this on my truck and it should fix yours b/c I have only seen the 4wd models do this.
You need to replace the slip yoke for the rear driveshaft with an updated nickel-plated version. Mine was about $250 last summer and it was the only thing that fixed the clunk. Also I would flush the t-case while you are doing it and coat the new yoke in fliud.
