Exclamation Poor fitting N-Fab bars

If anyone is considering buying some N-Fab nerf steps for a 2011 Chevy 3500 Crewcab 4x4 with the Duramax take a look at these pictures first. I purchased these through 4 Wheel Parts and when they didn't fit they contacted N-Fab. That was last Friday morning. I was told by 4 Wheel Patrs they would have an answer for me by quitting time that day. I still have not heard from either of them. I can modify them and make them work but I shouldn't have to. And I think both organizations should do a better job of standing behind their sales and products. Just a word of warning to anyone considering a similar purchase.

Re: Poor fitting N-Fab bars

I nad the chance to speak with N=fab about this issue and their explanation is pathetic. The reason these bars that were ordered for a 3500HD pickup fit so poor is because the brackets are made to fit a Tahoe and they use the same brackets for all chevys no matter what application you order them for. And they call themselves a fab shop!? The guy from N-fab starts by explaining how a Tahoe has fuel lines that need to be cleared. That's why the brackets are so tall. I told him I didn't order them for a Tahoe and he said it doesn't matter, that how they build them. What a load of crap! Ended up cutting and re-welding the brackets to make them fit properly. Stayb away from N=fab if you want to purchase things that are actually designed to fit your specific application. Theirs is one size fits all!
