any thoughts/comments on 2004 ZO6??

My son is looking at a 2004 ZO6 with 37,500 miles, 6 speed manual, it's really in pristine condition, dealer is asking $28,500, rubber is good, appears very well kept. First question I'd have is that a reasonable price, I will try to chisle them down. And are there any type of manufacturing defects known from this model and year? This is some special edition 24 Hours of Lemans, don't know what that means. I'm not crazy about him and 400+ HP, but he's old enough to call his own shots. What is the best internet site for getting an accurate blue book price? Thanks much!!

most lenders are using the nada values now, im looking for a 2000-2004 non z06 atm and they are priced anywhere from 15k(highmilage) to 24kish so if its a 04 z06 special edition with low miles, that might be a fair price. One thing though the z06 will cost more to insure and I think the tires are a good bit more than the regular model.
