4 Wheel Drive
2003 Yukon XL started it up in the morning and noticed it was in 4 wheel low. Not sure how that happened. Tried to switch to 2 wheel or automatic and the lights on the 4 wheel controls just flash. Any ideas?

Re: 4 Wheel Drive
Get your codes for the 4 wheel drive system ran. The only bad part is that unless they spent big money on a good scanner, independents can't read these. They are GM specific, usually only the dealer can read em. My bet is either the switch in the dash is bad, or the encoder motor sensor in the transfer case motor one is bad. As a preliminary check the wiring around the tcase. Crappy thing about these 4wd electronics is they are intermittent usually. Might work one day and not the next. Murphy's law though, one of those days will be when you need it...
