Front Brake Rotor recommendation

I seem to have a lot of problems with warped front rotors. Now on my third set, they seem to warp only after about 10k miles. I do not ride the brakes, the wheel nuts are torqued properly and in the proper sequence, the pistons in the calipers are perfect, yet still the rotors warp. The brakes are not even used much as most of my driving is highway.
I don't remember the brand names I have used except I believe the last ones were Monroe.
Any recommendations for a good set of rotors? I really hate the feeling one gets with warped rotors, so I am willing to pay the bucks. That said, I don't need or want speed or track rated disks, just good (maybe American made) rotors for a daily driver vehicle.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Front Brake Rotor recommendation

Possible you did not thoroughly clean the rotor mounting surface on ther hub, any rust build up there can cause this.

Re: Front Brake Rotor recommendation

Thanks maxwedge, but I am really anal when it comes to my car. Ask my wife..she complained I do more for it, than her. The car only has 80K on it. There is no rust anywhere on any of the brake components. The hubs are painted, both calipers AND the mounting bracket are painted, and are like new. I even painted the non pad contact surface of the rotors. No, I think it just cheap rotors.

Yeah, could be my Lesabre wont go 15k without slight pulsation , lots of rust issues up here in NYS, my shop does more rust related brake and under chassis work than anything else, it is also important to use hot soap and water to remove any machining contamination from new rotors .

Re: Front Brake Rotor recommendation

The brake hoses can collapse inside and cause the calipers to ride the rotors all the time, look for excess heat everytime you come home. I've had to change a lot of hoses on C/H bodies because of this. It can get really bad-

Re: Front Brake Rotor recommendation

Thanks all. I appreciate the info, however I really was just looking for a brand recommendation. Perhaps they are all about the same these day and "don't make them like they used to"

Re: Front Brake Rotor recommendation

Its hard to find a really good set of rotors anymore... Last set I bought almost 5 years ago were Bendix USA... Took over 4 years to get them to show signs of warp... These are soo thick I will have them turned..

I do agree tho that the lines may have collapsed and be causing issues.. Also need to check and make sure the slides are clean and well lubed..
