question
we are going to be purchasing a 1994 rx7, and my question is.... do you have to put a quart of oil in the car every time you fill up on gas... something about keep the turbos, and everything else lubricated???

You put in oil when the oil gets low. That is DEFINATELY NOT every time you fill up on gas, if that is what the person you are buying it from told you...don't buy it because, if you need to put a quart of oil in every time you fill up, the engine is toast.
Rx-7's do use more oil than regular cars but no where near that much more.

Yeah man. It should use a quart about every 700-1000 miles (damn i WISH our cars made that many miles on a tank!)
If its using a quart every 250 miles or so.. every fill up bascially, your oil seals are toast and you can look forward to a rebuild. On the bright side, all that oil leaking into the combustion chambers means that the engine probably wont need new housings or anything, just a seal set.
