AMT Dodge Viper RT/10
I was given this almost four years ago by a friend - he'd made a start & completed most of the chassis & running gear, and also painted the windscreen frame & surround (the latter especially well I'm pleased to say, as that's the part I am always most nervous about...). In the end, I dismantled quite a lot of the chassis in order to free up the front hubs as they were glued up, and also to adjust the positions of the inner wheel arches. The body and interior were unstarted, and I ended up repainting most of the chassis tub.
Major component parts: ![]() Chassis detail - the rolling chassis alone is very detailed, far more so than necessary as much will be hidden once assembled: ![]() ![]() A rough assembled body (some paint is drying on the chassis otherwise the body would be mounted properly): ![]() So far, no problems to report, aside from careful realignment of the rear inner wheelarches & some trimming required to the back of the interior tub, in order to allow the body to sit far enough back to centre the rear wheels in the arches (this hasn't affected the alignment of the front body panels / wheels). More locating pins, (particularly on the inner arches) would have been useful for assembly, however it may be that some where there, but were lost during dismantling. I also have AMT's GTS coupe so that will be a better indicator of the chassis buildup. And finally, all my current projects on the go.... More on these to follow soon! ![]() High res images available here (click on the mid res images again to get the high res ones).

Nice in yellow. Is that a P1800 hiding in the background?

Re: AMT Dodge Viper RT/10
Thanks for the comments! Hopefully it will be completed later this week - all that is left to do is some very minor detail painting, and then the final assembly. Everything has been test fitted, so hopefully there shouldn't be any surprises.
It is indeed - Airtrax's excellent resin kit. I've got no further than mocking up, and working out how to make the glass (a few pics here) but I will start a proper thread when there's more to show. I also have their Amazon saloon & estate kits waiting to be built....
