Need quick help with car

Yesterday the car (89 Integra LS - stock) was running perfectly. Thismorning I turned it over and it was like the battery was half there. I can start it with the help of a battery charger, but it takes a few minutes to build up enough voltage to ignight the fuel. Once I turn the engine off again, it starts all over and I need to get out the charger everytime I want to start the car.

Do I Need A New Battery?
Could there be a short somewhere in the electrical lines?

Thanks for anyhelp you give...

Sounds like the battery to me, but just to make sure before you go buying one take yours down to the local Autozone or Advance Auto parts store and have the battery load tested.

Yeah, Thanks
I'm going to run a few more tests on the car myself then I'll do that.
Thanks again

Not sure if you got the problem fixed yet but, if your battery has caps on the top pry them off and look in the holes and make sure you see some some water in there. If it's dry try filling some water in there. Also another thing is if it's a maintinence free battery it should have a little clear circle on the top and if it is green inside that means the battery is still good but if it is red then you need to replace your battery.

Good Luck hope you get it solved, but I'm pretty sure its your battery.:flash:
