Martini decals for Escort RS?

I know Domino.be makes something like it but not quite what I'm looking for. I'd like to make the Tamiya Escort RS into the Martini version. I've tried Patto's (no luck) and Colorado (none, either). Anyone have a place that may have it or make it?

Maybe you can try jawi decals. They make decals for all types of rally cars. Its a dutch company and the service is great.

The decals from Racing43 don´t fit well on the Tamiya Escort. They are made for the Bburago die-cast.

Thanks, guys. Phil, the last link you provided was what I'm looking for. The others are the later escort (without the high rear wing). I think I might buy one of those. Hmm...where to spend my money!

I have a Martini sheet somewhere for the RS Escort, I think its also the MERI sheet, I'll try and find it if its any use to you.

Oh yes, you're right, sorry, I forgot the 97 car already was the WRC escort under Martini livery...


According to Luis the Racing43 TK isn't a good option, so it's probably better to follow his warning and use a Merikit TK...

yes, merikit is done for Tamiya model.Seems also out of production since long time, and there was also one with the correct rims inside:

I did try to do this TK some years ago but the decals don´t fit well in the Tamiya kit. They are for the Bburago die-cast.

The Meri Kits decals can be buyed from there site. Last year I bought a decals from them.

I've got the RS in Martini livery on my to-do list as well.
Gigi Galli (who else ) drove a Martini sponsored Escort RS in the 1997 in the European Rally Championship.

I've been trying for some time to get the Merikits decals. Even contacted them directly (somewhere in the second half of 2009 (twice)) and never got a reply.
I've tried other options (like Roberto Bona (Icaro)) to get the Merikits decals but to no avail.
Surprising to see that Luis bought a set from them last year (lucky b*st*rd )

I bought a set of Martini decals (Cunico) from a french eBayer. I think they're a (laserprinted) copy of the Merikits decals as the layout of the sheet is 100% like the Merikits one, but the colours are a bit funny (compared to the S27 decalsheet for the WRC version). So, I'm a bit hesitant to use it.

Finally I've located and bought a conversionset from Racing43 last year.
But now I read that they're not a good fit for the Tamiya kit. How nice is that . Luckily the price was nice...

Ah well. I'll see how everything goes when I get around building this kit (which will not be soon...)

was wondering... If this racing43 TK isn't for the Tamiya model, I suppose all other Escort TK aren't either for Tamiya kit...?
there is a Vatanen TK from 94 Acropolis in the serie, but I'm now very hesitant to buy it...

No worry with the TK from 94 Acropolis. It looks good for the Tamiya kit like we can see in this built.
