Veilside R33 progress pics

This is the Fujimi Veilside kit with a modified SAS R34 NISMO hood.
Taken over 4 days of clean-up and fitting of metal parts, but slowly coming together. Plan to use rally style filler cap, two mufflers, lowered and some nice alloys!
Not a kit for the beginner !!!

Looks good, what is the detail like on the undercarriage and interior? Normal quality from Fujimi or is it reasonably detailed? Keep it up!

Normal Fujimi fare (so not great). You do get an extra sprue with hop-up extras like racing seats, big bore exhausts etc..
The Rims are 18' but a rather dull design and best replaced with something a little more exciting.

All spoilers and side skirts are metal not the usual resin. I think this was the only kit they used metal parts on. It makes the kit very heavy though. (hope the suspension can take it !!!).

Thats lookin great. If y ou replace the wheels, your best bet would be going with a pair of deep dish rims. I think Equip 5 spokes would look great on that if you can find a pair.
