Control arm bushings

01 Impala 3.4. Need to replace passenger control arm bushings, particularly the front one. Hanes manual states requires special tool and expertise to change the bushings. Is there any tricks to do it in the laneway?

Re: Control arm bushings

Without that bushing tool you risk damaging the arm, let a garage do it for you or maybe rent the tool from Autozone? Access to a press and some adapters may work.
