help me please

what should i do next to my car? cam gears and a CF hood?
speakers and a head unit? strut/sway bars and a 50 shot? or save my money? saving is a definite consideration unless i hear an idea that i cannot pass up. my mods are listed below, where to go from there? maybe a management system, port and polish, and cam gears. i dont know, of course i am looking for the most bang for the buck. i only want to spend $1500 this summer. thanks everyone.

Crap, with $1500 you can get a bolt-on turbo kit. You'll be going faster than you ever have and don't have to worry about "ricing" it out.... I think a port-and-polish would be useless at this point because he's not going to get a better cam or run NO2. Straight forced induction will get you into the low 14's or maybe high 13's with the mods you have now.

Port and polishing your head will help in all forms of forced induction, not just N2O. I agree with Neutrino here. Have the head ported and polished, go turbo, and if you really want to have some fun balance and blueprint.

I agree that a port-and-polish would be great with F/I, but he doesn't have any! With a basic turbo kit, he could be on the go saving another $1500 for a head job. If he went with the P&P at first, he probably wouldn't be satisfied with the gains.

well i advised him to go wth a port and polish so the engine will benefit tremendously when he will go FI....

you sure that turbo kit for 1500 is any goo...its awefully cheap.....most good turbo kits that i know of are around 3000$

I've been using the Greddy kit on my car for almost 2 years now without problems. It might be cheap, but for a stock D16 motor, it's more than enough.

Of course the Greddy FMIC is an extra $675 and the BOV and extra $180, but that's still cheaper than $3k. I agree that the Edelbrock includes a better turbo, but for the price, I'd rather get a cheaper kit with a cheap turbo, ride it out until it's busted, then get a better one.
