2005 Town Car Fuel Pressure Problem

Hi All,

My 2005 Town Car is suffering from low fuel Pressure and wondered if there was any way I can check it manually as I cannot seem to find the schrader valve which my 2001 Had on the Fuel rail?

I have changed various parts but the problem is still there althouh it is intermittent, It happens when in traffic?

Is low fuel pressure a common problem on these vehicles?

Any help would be great thanks.

Re: 2005 Town Car Fuel Pressure Problem

Hi,

What makes you think your car has low pressure?

What are your symptoms? Is the Check Engine Light on? Do you have any DTC's?.

Some fuel pressure tester kits include an adapter which is installed in-line after the fuel filter.

Oscar.
