2004 aveo power steering

hello all.
well my first question is this
i have a 2004 aveo i'm replacing the power steering pump on.
i removed the 2 lines and 2 nuts,and it won't come off.
i have beaten it silly,even stuck a pry bar in the hole
of the mounting bracket and beat it.
any tips on getting me mobile again would be most appreciated.
