Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3
Hello guys,
after two evenings of modifying the new Volkswagen Scirocco I'm finished with it. If you think about purchasing one: do not buy the white one! The panel lines around the hood are huge gaps! Modifications: - Interieur improved with flocking and partially painted flat blue. - Roofliner painted flat black. - 19" BBS LeMans from ScaleProduction with Pegasus tires. - PE brakes, also from ScaleProduction, with calipers from the parts box. - Exhaust tip from a Tamiya 996 GT3. - All lights have been reworked and improved. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It was quite fun to work on that little gem for two evenings. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Greetz Sebastian PS: In some pics it may seem that the rear wheels have positive camber. This is due to the lighting, they actually have about 1° negative camber. |

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3
Is that a Welly model?
Looks great. Shameful VW doesn't import the Scirocco to the US...nor Welly, for that matter

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3
Oh my goodness
, I really love what you're doing when transforming the diecast. The rims suit it perfectly and the ride height is just right. You've got that sober european touch that I appreciate on tuned cars, not too much, not too flashy, just the right parts at the right place. |

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3
even though in the European market, the 197bhp Scirocco is cheaper than the 197bhp GTi?

Re: Volkswagen Scirocco Mk3
Hello,
Seb and me bought each an Scirocco from Welly. We took the same colour, but different rims / wheels. Here´s my result... First, I thought about reworking the original rims... ![]() ![]() ![]() But at least I took the BBS from SCALEPRODUCTION... ![]() Tschöö Dirk |
