cam sensor

i have a 1997 concord 3.5 where is the cam positoin sensor

It should be near the front by the intake manifold. It is a black plastic sensor with 1 bolt holding it and has a 3 wire connector. I had to slightly loosen the plentum in order to get the old sensor out and new one in. Push it firmly against the spacer while you tighten the bolt to ensure the proper spacing/operation.
