Help!
Does anyone know anywhere that sells new or rebuilt transmissions for D-series motors? The shop that's looking at my car right now says it would be $650 to replace the bearings in my transmission, and I KNOW that it has to be cheaper than that to just swap one.
Problem is finding a tranny that is in good shape.

do you have an advanced auto store in your area? if so they sell rebuilt trannys and engines, you can give them your old one for a cheaper price also

Scratch that guys, looks like I am not going to swap anything right now. My finances with school and such are working out so that I can afford a new car with fewer miles, so I am going with that. Probably a 6th or 7th gen civic, or a new Si if I can afford the insurance.
You get a lot more scholarship money when you can only claim yourself. My parents legally emancipated me so now I have plenty of scholarships and such. I don't know though right now, we'll see.
