Lancer evo IX-V.Pech-Barum rally 2009

Hi all,
and let me introduce my last project that I worked for very very long time.
It is the Lancer Evo IX from Fujimi (Kat. No. ID-15), unfortunately the model is produced only in the civil design with right hand drive. So I had to do the same as the rally teams by the construction of the rally cars, ie. remove the front and rear seats, make a completely new guard, the new pressure distribution systems, fire system, undercarriage lowering, etc. Because it has not to be the only Lancer that I want to build, so I had made some resin cast as the preparation, to make me another building a little easier.
The first step was to photograph the entire car by the track test before Barum Rally 2009. Then I was inspired by the construction by one modeler from Holland, who had this Lancer (Dutch, of course) built. The exact Colors shades I had to mix from car painters. V. Pech sad me the right RAL-shades. It is a synthetic paint.On following pictures you will see the work progress and in the Gallery complete model.
