Question When the site goes down...

Like everyone else, I was AFless yesterday and it depressed the crap out of me. I took the extra time to finish my Civic and do some things around the house, but then I had an aweful thought.

What if the site never comes back online?

Needless to say we would all survive, but where would you go? What other forums do you guys visit? I'd love to be able to track this group down in the event of an emergency and we all got scattered through cyberspace.

:hehehe: HAHAHAHA me too. I was really looking forward to checking out AF after a hard days work. I was so pissed off when I found out it was offline. Are there any other modelling forums you guys go to in case of an emergency?

I wasn't depressed , but it sure was not very nice to be without it, see it as something missing out of my daily routine!
I surfed through the Briansmodelcars web page, but hey, nothing beats AF, besides I hate the fact that the BMC page is so axed on modelers only doing American cars.

Don't joke about the American cars, sometimes I think on BMC, if you're not building a muscle car, you may as well not exist.....

As far as how I spent my day.......at my model table....got a load of long overdue stuff done too

Yeah I was super mad that it was offline, and to make matters worse it was offline for longer than they said it would take!
Anyway I was so confused by not having AF, I started on a 1/35 scale tank model!! :finger:

Go back to the old stomping grounds at the cartalk.cars.com forums, most members here would be eaten alive over there though...

I got some rest without AF and finally worked on a model again! Most of my projects are stalled indefinitely due to lack of enthusiasm I sometimes check out Hobby Heaven's message board but I don't post there due to the way import models are treated there . Without AF, modelling just ain't the same! I search through other modellers' sites and get my fix that way. I check out Automotomover and a few others but that's about it. I'll shut up now

I managed to catch up with alot of other work around the place.
Got the lawns done, some garderns cleaned up and washed both cars.

The next day i thought id clean up my collection (bad move !!)
I spent 7 hours cleaning and waxing my models.
They still manage to get dust on them, but after yesterday i have sealed the doors up in my display cabnet.
Got around 50 cleaned, stil what i still have around 50 left to do plus 4 others on my display turn tables.
