Thumbs up Fujimi New Civic Type R completed

Here it is in its final form. Overall a pleasing first experience with a Fujimi kit. There are a few fit issues with the kit but it works out well, could be a little more detailed on the interior.

Let's hear some opinions on this one!

Very nice looking!
A bit of panel lining should it make look even better.

What did you use for the tinted glass ?

Seems like you paint the windows just plain black ?
Now, I know the Fujimi Interiors are normally really hiddeous!

The panel lines are very deep/wide. When I started doing them they looked very large and completely out of scale to me.

The rear windows and windshield stripe are painted black from the inside to look like the extremely dark "limo" tint on street cars.

Love the color! I think it needs some sort of mild wing or something on the hatch though. other than that it looks very nice.

The kit comes with a wing/spoiler. I just didn't car for the look of it. I've allways liked the hatchback's smooth rounded curve and the spoiler took away from it IMO.

Glad you all like it...I'm pumped up to start something new!

Nice! The panel lines are rather heavy as evidenced on mine which has 13 coats of paint, and still plenty of engraving left! A mixture of Tamiya Smoke and Clear, then thinned, makes a nice subtle panel wash. You have a nice, clean style.
