2001 lesabre front control arm replacement
Well it looks like one of the bushings on my passenger side front control arm is toast. I don't see the bushing for sale on rockauto so I assume I have to do the whole arm for $70 +shipping.
Is there anything else I should consider replacing while I have it out, like the stabilizer bar link perhaps? I think the arm comes with a ball joint and both the bushings in it, but I will verify that... Also if there are any tricks to this project that are not apparent from the get go I'd appreciate a heads up from anyone who knows. Thanks in advance. |

Re: 2001 lesabre front control arm replacement
You might have to use a pickle fork to remove the ball joint from the knuckle, other than that it should be really straight forward... IIRC the lower control arm is loaded..
