I was once considering buying an s13. I went with something else but I still love the cars.

I check this forum occasionally as a result of my interest in s13's. You guys need to lighten the fuck up. Every time I come by, theres another thread where you all pounce on someone trying to do something cosmetic and go fucking ape shit on them. Carbon fiber parts? RICER!!!! Conversion? Burn in hell!!!

God damn. Grow up people. It's no wonder this forum lacks members.

i haven't been on in a while becasue i'm still finishin up my car, but i don't think i've ever heard of people complaining about carbon fiber parts. carbon fiber is the greatest. but for conversions, yeah its cool and all, but what the other people do;'nt like is how its turning into a trend, we just dont' want our cars to be turned into the next civic, you know? since civics will always be made, they can fuck up as many of those as they want. but there are only sooo many 240's in the states, and when they're gone, they're gone. thats it, no more. see what i'm sayin?

The only divisions that are MORE active than the 240SX forum, is the Maxima and Xterra forums but, those are newer cars.. I'de hope that there are more posts in those forums. Oh, the Skyline forum ALSO has a lot of posts.. but I highly doubt they are all by Skyline owners.

If you dont like the way people treat you on this forum, move to another.. this is the Internet. Its not like we invaded your home, we're just shooting the shit. We play rough here because we dont want to answer stupid questions from uneducated bandwagon bastard car modders. If you're looking for knowledge, search through this forum, Fresh Alloy 240SX forums, and many other websites available that *I* didnt have when I was learning about my S13.

I dont get it.. how can you complain about shit like this when 5 years ago, sites like this did not exist? You should be thanking, not hating..

man, this is just the way this forum runs. some people don't like it, and those people leave. likewise, if you don't like it, then go find somewhere else to whine. i've been trying to lighten up lately, but there's alot of dumbasses asking stupid questions sometimes, and they need to be put in their place. i'm not an asshole by any means, but you're the one that needs to lighten up and accept that this is how we roll. if you don't like it, TS. we're not here to please everyone.

I dont mind him expressing his opinion, thats what forums are about. What bothered me is how he expressed it. thats all. Its one thing to comment about the overall tone of this place.. his post was not constructive, thats all.

I am trying to give you guys a little constructive criticism, as if youd take it. Maybe then you'd keep members. Instead you tell me to leave. This forum is in no way as frequented by car enthusiasts as other forums. If you can't acknolwledge that fact, and why it is the way it is, you are dillusional, and your forum will keep on suffering.

fuuukaiai trust me this is one of the easiest goin 240 forums around. if you go the main ones like 240sxforums or ziliva.net. they are pretty much run by elitest who will make dorikin and S13_itekeni look like girl scouts. since i use to be part of those forums, and i was part of AF for a very long time as well, when dorikin and S13 came here i never thought of them as bad at all because i've been to worse forums. in fact its actually dorikin and S13_itekeni that brought this place to life. even before them, no one were here, it was just mostly me and jspecsileighty that was here. still not sure why jspec left, he was really cool, and one of the top guys here knowledge wise. but this forum was dead non the less, then all of the sudden this place gets flooded with newbies. i dont mind them at all but alot of them were kinda dumb and dorikin and S13 were sort of like filters for the new guys, if the new guys were cool they would stay and we gained another good member to talk to or to teach to or to learn of from. trust me if this forum were to turn into the typical honda forums, i would've left along time ago becuase no one would be able to hold a intelligent conversation no more.

Thats great, thanks for sharing your constructive criticism. I dont know where you are getting your statistics though, since when are we "losing" members? I posted a link about, its QUITE obvious this is one of the most active forums in the NISSAN division, so what makes you think we are actually driving people AWAY? The numbers dont lie baby, we may be hard on people but they love us.

On your profile you list your car as a BMW. What are you doing here mouthing off? Not that you arent welcome here, but whats the story.
