Mustang Accesories

How are the parts in the interior of a mustang? Because if i got one and i pounded my system would it rattle the interior? or is it solid?

What year? As a general rule, they can take quite a bit. Ford offers a Mach 1000 (1000watt) stereo system from the factory on the newer cars. The SN95 series and newer is definately better than the Fox cars, although I noticed very little buzz on my 87 fox body which had 2 10" woofers in a band pass, and some aftermarket speakers.

I have installed a custom system in my car, and the only problem I have is that with loud booming bass my hatch and license plate rattle a little bit. Not noticeable from in the car though, just to the on lookers.

I have Clarion head unit, Clarion 3.5's in the dash, Blaupkunt 6.5 components in the doors with 1" tweeters recessed in the upper door (powered by a Kicker 300 watt amp), Pioneer 5x7's in the rear, 2 10" MTX Blue Thunders in the hatch (powered by a Lanzar 600 watt amp).

I have no issues with my 2002GT, which is the same as the 99. If there is anything in the door pockets, it will buzz there, otherwise it's pretty solid.
