race of the car gods.

This is my first post on here but I lurk a lot :jumpie: I seen something on my way to church this morning that i had to post about. A black Dodge Viper passed me on the high way and if that wasn't cool enough a black Grand National was in chase and came screaming by me to catch the viper. The driver of the Grand National was either flicking him off or giving him a thumbs up, (I could not tell but I think it was a thumbs up, I could get close enough to see) when the viper floored it. It got a little jump on the gn but the gn was staying next to his door both cars were hauling balls for a 1/2 mile or so before they backed off for a few miles. I nearly caught up with them when they went after it again this time the gn got the jump on the viper and kept a 1/2 car lead. I wasn't even racing and it was one of the best times iv had in a LONG time, them cars were BEASTS :silly2:

thx for the welcome. :alien2:

i was talking to some friends of mine, co workers as you may, at Wal*Mart. yeah i know my job sucks :finger: and one of the guys said he knows of a local high school kid who ownes a grand national. he said he baught it last year at a drag race and that hes been throwing ALOT of performance parts at it. the way he was talking about him and the car its one of the quickest street cars around here but i dont know i doubt that a kid would be able to build what i seen. i think ill try to find him and see if hes got a web page or something about the car.

on the other hand im really intrested in seeing the viper owners side of the story. he could not have been verry happie:hehe: . that car was bad-ass, to bad it lost atleast one of the races. if any body finds any posts on any other boards post them, i would love to find out more about these guys.
