2005 Impala...all lights turn off!!
My Grandma has a 2005 Chevy Impala, 2 times in the last month she has been driving at night and all the lights have gone off. She pulled over and "flickered" the high/low beams and she said after about a minute they came back on.
I am wondering if this is the switch in the dash(to the left of the sterring wheel) that turns the lights on or off? Or is it something else? Thank You!! |

Have the Dealer or a reputable shop run some diagnostics on the car and see if
there are any codes. The BCM (body Control Module) is the culprit for about 95% of the problems from headlights to the car refusing to start. Check all connections to the BCM and make sure they are right. Also check the headlight switch in the dash for problems and the emergency brake, when applied the headlights go off too. Make sure that is fully released. Good luck. John |

next time it fails see if moving the switches slightly can get the headlights to come back .. since it is working they will throw parts at it .. |
