CASE relearn
I have replaced the Crankshaft Position Sensor in my 2002 Buick Regal LS. Now I need to do a CASE relearn. Is there anyone in the MD-DC-VA area that has a scan tool (GM Tech II, OTC Genisys, HPTuners, ...) and is able to do the relearn for me? I will drive to your place and pay you for the work. Thanks a lot.

Re: CASE relearn
Are you having any issues or any CKPS DTCs set? When I replaced mine it worked fine without having to do the case learn. When done best to use a GM Tech 2 scan tool. When you re-install the crank position sensor it normally mounts back into the same location since it is not adjustable.
All the case learn does is prevent false misfire DTCs from setting.

Re: CASE relearn
Thank you for the reply. My car runs fine so far after replacing the sensor. I did the repair yesterday and it's quite a bit of a job to remove the balancer bolt. Anyway, I want to do the CASE relearn just for peace of mind. However, if it's not critical and I cannot find a relatively cheap place, I will not do it. I called the dealership today and they quoted me $109 + tax!!!
