Milwaukee NNL 19

Hi Everyone,

I would like to invite you to attend our 19th annual NNL style model car show in Milwaukee on April 9, 2011. The theme for this year is "auction cars" that is anything sold at Barrett-Jackson, R&M, Mecum, etc. There is also a sub theme of modern muscle. We usually have over 600 models on display of all types.

Event will be at the Excellence Center on Bluemound Rd. in Waukesha, WI. Hours are 3 - 9pm. $10 admission.

Thanks Mike. I might even show up this year as I have new decals to sell. Plus I owe all the great Milwaukee builders that come to Ferrari Expo every year a pay back. From the photos I have seen this is one of the best NNL's in the country for sportscars!!

If I may ask (with no biases whatsoever), what are the advantages of an NNL over a "traditionally" judged competition? I know some despise both for their own reasons. Just curious to see why some contests are NNLs and some are "judged" competitions.

I would like to attend but it's just a wee bit too far for me to drive.

I guess my interpretation of an NNL event is more of a gathering than a competition. It's more about just getting together with a bunch of other enthusiasts to share ideas, stories and just have fun.

Tom, it would be great to have you come. I'm sure there are others here that would like to see some of your fantastic builds as well.

Interesting. Too bad there aren't any very close at all to us here in KY. Probably a Chicago one (if there is one) or Atlanta. I've only been to "judged" competitions (quite a few).
