Unhappy 1994 SW Clutch trouble

I had the clutch pressure plate and throwout bearing replaced less then 10k miles ago and it shifted as easy as always. The first sign of a problem was that sitting with the clutch pedal to the floor in gear the idle started getting just a little rough. Thats when I realized that if I took my foot of the break the car would creep forward. And also got hard to put in gear and when I did stuff it in gear the car would want to move even with the pedal to the floor. The oddest thing is that when the car is cold it works fine. The more I drive the worse it gets. But let the car sit a while and it works fine again till it is warm again. My guess is that the master or slave clutch cylinder is going bad, but how do I know which one? Is there some way to check rather than guess or replace both? BTW Im located in Michigan so cold is winter time cold. Like in the morning it is fine, by the time I get close to work, about 20 miles it starts acting up. By lunch its fine again till it warms up again and so on. Thanks for looking and helping if ya can!

It doesn't matter which one has gone bad as they are replaced together. Also, you probably have water contamination. It would explain the difference in performance as the temp changes.

i would just take cluch master and clean it put new fluid in it maybe twice bleed it again at the slave cylinder becuse you probably got water or tainted fluid in it. did you put new flywheel or did they turn the one that was in there because if it got hot and looked blue it needed replace.

Re: 1994 SW Clutch trouble

The clutch hydraulics are very difficult to bleed. This is why they sell the system as a unit, pre-bled.

Being pre-bleadmakes it easy on me so I guess I will just bite the bullet and do it. It has served for 250,000 plus so it owes me nothing at this point! Thanks to all for the help It saves alolt and every bit helps!
