86 subaru gl issues

hi im new to this forum stuff so im really hoping somebody can help me figure out my subaru problem.ive been working on it for a couple weeks now and i still cant figure out y it wont idle and stay running it spits,sputters and pops threw the tbi and exhaust ive checked the timing and its dead on it get fuel,has new plugs,wires,cap and rotor it barelly drives down the road without dieing when u come to a stop i really need some new ideas.thanks to anyone who gives me any new ideas....

We all have some ISSUES. The more meaningful subject line would bring your thread more attention.
Now let us go back to your problems. Have you checked the compression?
I would also make sure that the timing belt did not jump a tooth. Open side covers and make sure that all marks on sprockets are there where they suppose to be.
