which one

ok which one would be a better bang for the buck ?

I have a 93 hb cx w/ JDM b16a2 skunk2 s.s catback exhaust, jdm 4-1 itr header, aem cai, skunk2 intake mannifold.

Now Im thinking bout spending a grip of money an sending my head to portflow and getting that done up. An going with skunk2 cams an upgrading my valuetrain to handle revving to 9100 rpm. Also getting the hondata stand alone system. Im shooting for 200 whp. I think this will get me close. But the money is crazy im thinking it will be over 5000 with parts an labor an dyno time.

Now I also have a 88 dx hb w/ b18a in it Im thinking if i spent that 5000 on it it would blow my eg out of the water with a turbo set up.

So which one do you think is going to be faster a b18a turbo or my eg with those upgrades i listed

by the way my b18a is stock. thanks

Don't port the engine.....

It will just f*&^ up your flow characteristics.

I'd say the cx is a good, light platform to start with. Why not go turbo on the B motor? That would be the easiest way to 200+ hp.

There's no doubt that turbo will beat all-motor between those setups. But I think all-motor would be way more fun to build.

I think that my ef would be the faster of the two. But I just love the eg hacth its my fav honda. The ef is what I could afford when i was younger Im a lil older now an have alot more money than what i had when i 1st got my ef. But not enough money to build both cars. im not sure what to do? An i really dont want to sell the ef.

If i take the b18a motor out an swicth it for a b20z what do u guys think ?
