Shift Linkage Adjustment??

I am having some issues with my 97 A4Q where it pops out of 2nd gear during acceleration, and is also difficult to get into 1st. This 5 spd has 150K on it

On some Audis and VW's I've had in the past, the shift linkage is adjustable. Is there such an adjustment for my A4 and might that be my problem?? Any/all advice would be appreciated

Not adjustable linkage on your car, its shift rods like a honda. Check the bushings in the rods and see if they are worn. Also you might have bad trans mounts or front snub mount. Most likely though the clutch is going out.

My first guess is syncro is going out,could be clutch like first comment but I doubt it..what motor do you have?
