DSM members, roll call...

Hey guys, I wanted to see how many members actually frequent the DSM section nowadays... Please post up if you still visit and if you still have your DSM or not...

Administration is trying to revitalize this place with some upcoming modifications to the site and some reorganization. I wanted to kinda get a feel for how many people are still here and what we can do to try and bring more activity to this section. Any ideas or suggestions? I'd really like to see this place be as active as it used to be.

Im still around I don't check in as much. Still have the GSX but rarely drive it. It's got the same gas in it as it did in July. I need to get it out get some new gas in it and change the oil.

I'm still here, and still have my DSM. Although its stored at the moment for winter!

can't wait to break it out in another month or so...

Have them just redirect to a forum that has accumulated knowledge, traffic, etc.

3 come to mind, one is not "generic" DSM, but a great forum.

AF is a superb landing pad for noobs on the web, but useless from a tech perspective.

All it proves is that nobody is working on/talking about anything in this section. Most of the regulars here have gotten older over the years and have more responsibilities in their lives and have either sold their cars or are busy working and taking care of their families.

I would like to see more technical info on AF for future members (noobs as you refer to them as). Not so much for the regulars who know their DSM info already. This is why we originally wanted a Tech Article section. There were articles submitted by dedicated members and there is some good info in there. Maybe not the most advanced stuff like you would like to see, but you also have to realize that not everyone will be on the same level as you from the beginning... However, people learn and grow. It sure would be nice to have some more advanced articles there to preserve our knowledge for the next generation of members...

Exactly.

I know you have an extra stake being a mod here, and I can relate, but this isn't the case on active forums.
