Frame swap on Rodeo

Yeah, I love this thing that much, that I even contemplate such a feat of mechanical repair. My frame is rotten on my 99 Rodeo, so I am in the market for a used frame, (must be 98-2000, v6, 4x4, 5-speed) preferably a rolling chassis, so I can tow it home.
Im up near Toronto, ON, but I dont mind traveling a little bit to find one.
I have a question, has anyone ever done this before? What kind of problems can I expect?

Re: Frame swap on Rodeo

Frame swaps are not that big a deal. It just seems like it is. Once you rig up a way to lift off the body, the process of swapping everything over to the new frame is easy. I did a frame swap on a full size Chevy van. The body was easy to get off and once I had it lifted off, swapping all the stuff over was a piece of cake. I set the new frame next to the old one, both on jack stands, and just started moving stuff over.
