Check out the Top Secret V35 Skyline

I know its not a model but I just thought you guys would like to see this. I cant wait until Tamiya build a model of the V35, should be as stunning as the 350Z. Hopefully they include an engine with it. Anyway enjoy!!

uhhh dude. THERE'S NO R35!!!

that Top Secret car IS a G35, yes. BUT it is ALSO a V35 Skyline. the G35 Coupe in North America IS the V35 Skyline. as well, the G35 Sedan is the V35 Skyline Sedan in Japan. it IS a Skyline, but not a GT-R. that R35 you posted is just an ugly study design from a few years ago.

but I heard that the infiniti G35 is the just the infinit version of the 350z cause hte share the same platform, so is now the next/next skyline going to be using the same platform? why would u have 3 cars that have the same platform and look very similar? im so lost, can someone help me?

I was shocked when i found out that the Infiniti G35 sport coupe is the Skyline in Japan. They totally lost the Skyline style in this remodelling. But hey, there is no R35 GT-R yet.... Maybe that will have the old Skyline styling?

Yes, they are sharing the chassis, but wheelbase and suspension tunings are different, besides obvious body and interior design. The Stagia wagon, Skyline 4dr, 350Z and Skyline 2dr are sharing the same platform so far.

It is exteremely costly to make a unique platform for one car,
especially if it's a sports car, whose expected sales is only 40,000
units per year. So, the manufacturers have two options, when making a
low volume car, and that are to share as many parts as possible to get
the benefit of mass production, such as 350Z and Audi TT, or price the
car high to cover the tooling cost of unique parts, for example Porshe
Boxster.

Back to Skyline, I think some people are confused with the chassis code
and model name. And next GT-R, which will lose the name Skyline, and simply called Nissan GT-R will be sitting on the V35 chassis, but it won't look anyting like the GT-R Concept.
It's shame that no one has picked up the new Skyline as a kit subject. It looks really good, if you see the real one. (especially coupe.)

Slipknot why dont you do some research before you start shooting your mouth off. I don't come onto this forum to fool people as you have suggested. I simply posted that picture because I have noticed that there are a lot of import enthusiasts on this forum and I thought they would be interested.

If you want information about the V35 or the Top Secret Car which I have posted then go to www.nissan.co.jp or www.topsecretjpn.com
