Would insurance be high on a 1008 Honda Civic Si Sedan?

I am looking to get my first car soon and among my choices the Honda civic si is the only 4door car I like. Would its insurance be as bad as say an Acura RSX?

Re: Would insurance be high on a 1008 Honda Civic Si Sedan?

Any car for you is going to be pricey because of your age... anyone under 25 pretty much is pricey. There are some exceptions though of course.

However, if we put the age aside and just went off the vehicle, you'd be making a good choice, 4 door cars are cheaper to insure than 2 door. Its also cheaper if car as an anti theft system, air bags, etc. BUT it also depends on your area's criminal reports, like where I lived in Florida, Honda's/Acura's were the #1 most stolen car, so the insurance was a bit higher for them. That is something only you can find out, just call up a insurance company and get a quote.
