2004 yukon
Hello I need help I have a 2004 gmc yukon and i cannot figure out how to open the rear window it has a button but I just cant get the window to open

Make sure it is unlocked first. Other than that, open the hatch and pull the trim cover off. It is reusable clips, don't worry about it. You can then get to the latch and see if there is something wrong with it.

Correct, press the unlock button at the driver armrest. However, I'd recommend to open the entire hatch ONLY. Opening the window portion separately puts a severe stress on the spring, too-short wires to the defroster grid in the window, and the tabs can break off the window all-too-easily. ask me how I know this. At least the special Loctite "Window tab repair kit" did work. |
