I have a tape adapter for my iPod ans the other I tried to use it. So when it plays the sounds come from the front speakers, to the back speakers, and then the tape ejects. So what should I do to fix this?

Re: '99 Caravan tape player doesn't work
It's probably cheaper to buy a use OEM on Ebay, or consider a new system with both a USB, and aux port for your Ipod.

Thanks I'll try one of those suggestions. It's annoying that's why I haven't tried it since then.

Re: '99 Caravan tape player doesn't work
Some tape players are watching the output real of the cassette tape to see if it is turning. This would indicate that the tape is moving properly through the cassette. If it is not moving, it may be at the end. The tape player would then reverse. But again, the output real is watched for movement. Your adapter may not move the output real. If the player thinks it's playing the tape, but does not see the output real moving, it will eject.
