Normal fuel pressure for 2002 LX V8??

What is the normal fuel pressure for a 2002 lincoln LS V8? Mine stays right at 30-32psi. After shutting of the engine the pressure blleds to zero in about 10 minutes? Then, the car is very difficult to start, with smell of gas in exhaust.. Possible injector bleeding into cylinder?? Thanks

Re: Normal fuel pressure for 2002 LX V8??

Fuel pressure is relative to manifold vacuum. 35 is at the bottom of the normal range, but should be okay.

It does sound like you have one or more leaky injectors. You may be able to find it by listening to each one with a mechanic's stethoscope (Harbor Freight has a cheap one) after shut down. The leaky one(s) may make a little noise.
