O2 sensor locations for 2002 Mercury Sable

I was wondering where the Bank 2 Sensor 2 and bank 2 senor 1 is located on a
2002 Mercury sable. The Mechanic told me it should be past the catalytic converter but he is
not sure because every year is different.
My wife's car vibrates and the exhaust is coming out wierd too.

Bank 2 Senor 2 is below the manifold on the exhaust pipe that is closest to the radiater. Bank 2 sensor 1 should be on the same exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter.

What were the codes that you were told. List them as the code number can indicate if the sensor is bad or if a wire could be broken.

Bansk I is always the side that number 1 clyinder is on and bank 2 is the opposite side

This is from the repair info that you can get on the autozone.com site (Repair manuals) just register it is free:

"In the exhaust manifolds (Bank 1 and 2, Sensor 1) or after the catalytic converters (Bank 1 and 2, Sensor 2)."

Bank 2 = cylinders 4,5, and 6.
HO2 sensor 1 is befor the cat, and H02 sensor 2 is down stream after the cat.

Have a local muffler shop do an inspection, it could be a burnt H02 wire.

How hard of a job is this to do, if I wanted to do it.

Almost like replacing a spark plug.
