Question Question regarding a lease

Yesterday I went through with my first lease (2011 Mazda 3 sport). Mazda has a royalty program where if you have a family member who owns a Mazda you get $500 off. My sister owns a Mazda and we included this rebate with the lease price. As it turns out she is on vacation and will be unable to fax me her registration for the car (I'm supposed to pick up the Mazda tomorrow and give the dealer the copy of the registration). Will not having the registration BREAK the lease or will the dealer be able to just tack on $500 over the 42-months? I already signed the paperwork. Today is Sunday and I'm sitting on pins and needles. Hopefully someone here can help. Thanks!

Re: Question regarding a lease

Calm down,,, I been through this process hundred of times where some documentation was not available upon delivery, don't be silly let or suggest the dealer tack on the funds.

Phone and inform them that you won't be able to pick the car up till " because " . Their answer will be one of two.

1,,, Pick up the car and bring the copy when available.
2,,, Pick the car up when you have the paperwork.

Will not having the registration BREAK the lease,,, you are funny,,, the dealer will wait till the last cow comes home, be it with 3 legs before they will let you of the hook having signed a lease.

Re: Question regarding a lease

In car leasing, lease payments are based primarily on the difference between sale price and lease-end residual value. This price is different from the price on the car's sticker.
