re: seats for a 1996 Legacy Wagon

Hi Folks,

The drivers seat in our 1996 Subaru Legacy Wagon is worn out. I am trying to learn what year range other Legacy seats will swap directly, no mods, straight bolt in.

Also, would any one know, can seats form Subaru Forester swap directly too? (same bolt patter, distance, size) and if so, what years as well?

Finally, are there other brand/model seats that might work as a direct swap in a subaru (i.e. honda, nissan, toyota)?

on my way to a salvage yard soon .. wanted to ask up front.
