Motor Question
Good afternoon all,
I'm looking at a 79 caprice for sale and the guy tells me it's all original and has a v6 engine. I looked and everything I see says 305 and 350 in that year. He says he researched it and found that v6 was available but was rare. Can anybody confirm that? Also, how interchangeable are parts and panels between a 79 and 84? Thanks |

Re: Motor Question
I guess I wasn't looking in the right place. I have an 84 with a 305 and bad frame. This may be a suitable replacement.

Re: Motor Question
Aside from some body differences, the undercarriage on the Caprice from '77 through '96 was the same, so there are swap possibilities to be had.
